HLA-300/V PLUS version with forced cooling fans
HF amplifier for Yaesu FT-817
Linear amplifiers RM HLA-300 of ITALY were studied for those who need to elevate the HF antenna power low power devices like the YAESU FT-817 or ICOM IC-703, while maintaining high standards of unwanted emissions mitigation (spurious and harmonics) to make long and long distance. Operate by 160 (1, 8 MHz) to 10 (29 MHz) meters in all operating modes and are the only ones who have within them a series of six low-pass filter with cutoff frequency of 3/4.5/8/15/22/31MHz, to reduce drastically the harmonic emissions. Filter selection control may be automatic, controlled by a microprocessor that reads the transmission frequency and automatically selects the appropriate filter, or manual (band selection via the front panel switch), in this case the microprocessor controls that the filter selection is correct; possibly signals via an audible alert to the possibility that the filter set is incorrect. A temperature sensor stops operation of the amplifier and emits an alarm, in case the same would become excessive; the alarm is reset automatically to drop temperatures in normal operating parameters. A protection circuit ROS provides for prohibition of the operation of the amplifier in case of high level of standing waves; the same circuitry protects the stage of amplification by the possibility that an incorrect selection of low pass filters may damage. The HAL-300 is also available with forced cooling fans heavy duty HLA-300/V Plus -in photos.
