The LA-250 is a 140-150 MHz 200W amplifier, input 1 to 20 w (13.6 V 30A). It uses Mitsubishi 4 A50 Mosfet mounted on a copper heat spreader (200x60x3mm). It is available in two versions, one with and one without a top mounted fan. There is an external input PTT but can also be used without cause embedded HF-VOX.
The front panel features an LCD display that shows input power, output power, heatsink temperature and output VSWR. There is a possibility to change the intensity of the backlight. The CPU keeps an eye on input power, temperature and ROS and will eventually turn off the amplifier to be transmitted in case of failure. Any errors will be recorded and will be available for the recall after being diagnosed by the manufacturer or its distributors. The weight is about 4 kg.
The dimensions are approximately 240x420x70mm for the non-fan and 10 mm in more than 80 mm height, for version fan.
