The PERSEUS is a "software defined receiver based on direct digital sampling architecture. Use a 14 bit analog/digital-converter and 80 MS/s sample rate, a high-performance FPGA-based down-converter and a USB hi-speed interface from 480 Mbit/s.
A COMPLETE SDR RECEIVER FOR SHORTWAVE
The analog front end of PERSEUS has been carefully designed for the most demanding users and includes a -30 dB attenuator, 10 dB steps, a preselector to 10 bands, and a high dynamic range preamplifier with a third order intercept point from top of the class: more 30 dBm. The resulting dynamic is greater than 100 dB in SSB and greater than 105 dB on CW. Believe us, there is another SDR receiver so powerful on the market. The PERSEUS receiver can function as a spectrum analyzer with a gang of 10 kHz-40 MHz with more than 100 dB of dynamic range.
SOFTWARE FOR DEMANDING USERS
Being a PERSEUS SDR receiver, making the process of demodulation relying on software applications. In addition to providing the functionality of digital signal processing, PERSEUS software provides a convenient graphical interface and is easy to use under Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and 8. All the commands that you are used to use are present in the main application window. Interfacing with third-party software is available in a variety of ways, through the "Microtelecom released Software Defined Radio Developer Kit" virtual audio ports and virtual communication ports.
PERSEUS software now supports recording and listening broadband spectrum using a sampling at 1 MHz and a rejection of the image greater than 100 dB on a band of 800 kHz!
