-VHF nautical float and flashing w
Pursues the constructive logic of the IC-M33/M35, the Transceiver IC-M23 is able to float if dropped overboard, also a flashing LED, on the underside, allows rapid identification of the device for easy and quick recovery even in low visibility conditions.
The small battery pack from 3, 7V included, battery save feature and extremely compact dimensions, guarantee a wide operating range and a lightness never achieved before on a Marine VHF 5W RF power apparatus.
The apparatus is equipped with a large LCD display which derives directly from the IC-M33/M35, which further simplifies the use of the equipment.
Floating apparatus with led detection system: If dropped in water, even such device is switched off, the transceiver will be able to float and also will automatically turn on the led flashing for easier identification and recovery in low visibility conditions.
The Transceiver IC-M23 is characterized by an extreme lightness and mini size, never obtained before (from a study conducted by Icom in December 2010) on other apparatus floating VHF Marine on the market in the world.
Battery saving circuit: is powered by the battery pack BP-266 3, 7V lithium. The innovative circuit PA allows power RF in antenna of 5W (approximately). The operational autonomy of the apparatus is calculable at around 10 hours with a use in Tx (Hi) and 5:5: 90 standby = Rx.
Different charging possibilities: you can charge the device via a wall charger or car adapter 12VDC, displaying charging status directly on the LCD screen. It is also possible to use a desktop charger type quickly, model BC-119N, with whom, the battery pack can also be retrieved from the apparatus and charged separately in about 2.5 hours.
Read LCD display facilitates and broad indication of the operating channel: also introducing smaller than the device IC-M35 the Transceiver IC-M23 adopts the same LCD (32 x 16 mm). The channel on which the work appears with 2 large digits. The display backlight system finally for operations in environmental lighting conditions are precarious.
Tag and scan favorite channels: scan Tags work only on channels that are marked by the operator, ignoring those that are not marked. By pressing the "Fav" button will allow you to run a quick scan by invoking so the channels marked in rotation.
Loud/Mute functions: these functions respectively to achieve maximum audio output or to mute the loudspeaker at the push of a button. These functions are very useful when you need to temporarily mute the sound or when operating in very noisy environments.
Waterproof construction that is equivalent to the degree of protection IPX7 (immersion to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes)
Battery status indicator in 4 segments
Power save function indicator to 2 segments.
Auto scan function, which automatically activates in case may not receive any signal for at least 30 seconds.
Immediate access to emergency channel CH16 or programmable on any other channel.
AquaQuake water drainage function.
The input socket for the DC power supply is protected with a rubber protection to prevent water intrusion.
Accessories: battery pack BP-266 3, 7V lithium-ion-1500-1590mAh (least-Typ), BC-199SE wall charger, belt clip MB-124, antenna FA-SC58V and manual.
